The Hollywood Facial is essentially a skin resurfacing treatment using advanced laser technology. It also stimulates collagen growth for youthful and radiant-looking skin.
Prior to any treatment, we require that all patients undergo a consultation with one of our providers. This helps us understand your skin care goals, what you’re looking to get out of this procedure, and any medical conditions that could interfere with the results. Once we’ve discussed this information and assessed your skin, we’ll determine if this is the appropriate treatment for you.
After you arrive at our MedSpa, we’ll take you back to the room where the procedure will take place and make sure you’re comfortable. We’ll then begin the treatment by applying a carbon-based lotion to your skin.
Once the lotion has been applied, we’ll start to move the laser across the different areas of your face. The layer of lotion will be removed by the laser as it moves across the skin. You may feel some heat coming from the laser, but the experience should be painless.
The treatment should take no longer than 60 minutes. Following the treatment, you will be able to go back to your normal activities. However, your provider may offer some guidelines you can follow to ensure the full results of your treatment are achieved.
You will see some immediate results following the procedure, with full results setting in a few weeks after. It is recommended that you undergo treatment every four to six weeks to maintain the effects.
